Great job to all our swimmers that competed last weekend at the Novice meet. Lots of great swims. Reminder to bring your blue cards back to the next meet to have them updated. Thank you to all the parents that helped time. REMINDER WE MUST HAVE PARENTS HELP TIME OR WE CAN'T RUN THE MEETS.

Championship Meet- August 10th
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED for the Championship Meet on August 10. Deadline to enter is August 6th. Swimmers can select 3 events to swim for the Championship meet. Please bring your Blue Meet card completed to the front desk at 4S with $15 cash to enter the meet. If you don't have a Blue Entry Card, you can get one at 4S or do your entry at Arbolitos.

To fill out the Entry, Just select the swimmers 3 events. We will be organizing and doing relays at the end of the meet. This will not count as one of the 3 events and is completely voluntary. Meet will be held at
Poway Community Pool 13094 Civic Center Drive, Poway, CA 92064. Arrive @ 9am for meet warm up, meet will begin at 9:30am and we should be done by 11:30am.

At the swim meets…

*Every swimmer should wear goggles
*Team suits are encouraged, but not mandatory
*Female swimmers must wear the team cap

P.S. If you need a team cap, ask your coach or you can get one at the 4S Front Desk

Events to Swim
If your swimmer is nervous about their first meet, we recommend swimming Freestyle and one other event of their choice. 8 year olds and under swim 25 yards (1 length of the pool), and 9 year olds and over swim 50 yards (2 lengths of the pool). Remember that IM is 4 lengths of the pool, with 1 of each stroke, Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke & Freestyle.
