Novice groups & swimming Lessons Start June 12, 2023
Beginner Novice:
The Beginner Novice Swim Group is a 30 minute practice for kids that are both water-safe and can swim at least a 1/2 length of freestyle and backstroke across a 25 yard pool.
In this class, swimmers are able to build up their endurance and begin to master breathing techniques, diving, and underwater control. They will also learn the four strokes: Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle. Swimmers will be placed in the appropriate lane based on their skill level. They may also participate in the Novice Meets if desired.

Monday-Thursday @ 10:00am-10:30am
Monday-Thursday @ 4:30pm-5:00pm
Pricing Options:
Swimmers can choose to swim either 2, 3, or 4 times per week for four weeks at any the times above
$90 for 1 x per 4week for four weeks, or 4 times in one week
$150 for 2 days/week for four weeks
$40 for one week/an add-on week
$190 for 3 days/week for four weeks
$50 for one week/an add-on week
$250 for 4 days/week for four weeks
$70 for one week/an add-on week
Advanced Novice:
The Advanced Novice Swim Group is a 1 hour practice for kids that can breathe to the side and can swim their basic strokes. Swimmers need to be able to swim at least 2 laps of Freestyle without stopping and 1 lap of Backstroke without stopping.
In this class, swimmers continue to perfect their side breathing, dives, and underwater control. They also will continue working on and building endurance in each of the four strokes: Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle. Swimmers will be placed in the appropriate lane based on their skill level. They may also participate in the Novice Meets if desired.

Monday-Thursday @ 5:00pm-6:00pm

Lessons:
All lessons are with an instructor in the water. There is a 3:1 student to teacher ratio.
Swimmers in the beginner lessons are taught individually, with our instructors working directly with them to fulfill any and all of their swimming needs. They will attend class twice per week for 30 minute lessons.
Our instructors can teach the swimmers to learn how to swim in any depth of water, to swim from point A to point B, to tread water, to dive/jump into the pool, and to have total confidence within the water. The swimmers, upon completing this, are now considered to be completely water safe and can then learn how to swim their basic strokes, including freestyle (with side breathing), backstroke, and butterfly. If your child is already water safe, then the instructors can work with them on the basic strokes listed above to get them ready to advance to our Novice Swimming Groups.
Lessons Schedule:
Lessons need to be scheduled at a specific day and time for two days per week within our available spots/hours. This can be done by scheduling the lessons in person at the front desk during their open office hours, by calling the 4S Pool, or by emailing the 4S Pool (contact information is at the bottom of the page) with your designated days/time.
Mornings:
Monday-Thus from 10:00am-12:00pm & Saturday from 10:00-12:00pm
Afternoons:
Monday-Thurs from 3:00pm-6:00pm
Lesson spots do fill up fast, so we will work with you to find the best time that fits your needs within the space we have available.
Pricing:
$260 for 8 total lessons (2 lessons/week for four weeks).
